Really Nice Place to Visit - We stopped here on our way to Lake Erie. Malabar Farm was a great place to take a break and have lunch.

Our go to place to camp for a few days - Stonelick lake campground is one of my favorites anywhere around the Cincinnati area. Very well cared for, mowing and weedeating as well as flowers during the summer months. Showerhouse has been completely remodeled. The camphosts do a great job We just camped there this week for two days.

Well cared for campground - We love to camp at Stonelick The friends of Stonelick do a great job.We appreciate the clean restrooms, all the flowers and hanging baskets, and the well groomed grass including weed eating.

Outdoor Recreation Area Needs Upkeep - Several years ago Maumee Bay State Park added three pickleball courts to their already well thought out outdoor recreation area that consisted of tennis courts and a basketball area. These courts were lighted and well maintained. During the outdoor season there was a portable toilet at the court entrance. I am sad to say that now, when outdoor exercise and social distancing are sought after and some do not want to exercise inside, the area is in severe disrepair. Starting with the cracked and weed filled walkway to the area, no portable toilet, cracked courts, lights that do not work, and improvised fencing supported by ropes, things need to be repaired. The tennis area has had one net down for months and the basketball area is in disrepair. Evenings in September and October once were well attended by players of all ages. Now, as darkness comes earlier it will be impossible to play. I have emailed the park manager and received replies indicating that the problems would be addressed. There has been clean up of weeds inside of the fencing, but no other progress. What was once a showplace for outdoor recreation has declined so much as to be embarrassing. I hope the park can maintain and fix the area before it becomes totally abandoned.

Such a treasure - What a shame this once beautiful park has not been kept up. And has been closed since Covid hit. I have so many memories of Crane Creek from my childhood and adult. Every New Years day I walk the beach. I will miss these times.

Best kept secret. - My wife and I live only 10 minutes away from here and it is our favorite place to go for a quick get away. We just got back this morning for a 2 night stay just to relax. The facility is clean, quiet, the staff are great and the price is fantastic. Jake camp host does a great job taking care of things. He even went out of his way to help me find a golf cart for my wife. Will definitely keep coming back.

Bike Trail Needs Grooming - The west 1.76 miles of the bicycle trail are seriously in need of grooming. Weeds on both sides of the trail have not been cut back all summer. As a result, the trail is one lane only in several areas.

swimming beach - The swimming beach is way too small and crowded. No shade trees in parking lt to park or picnic under. More parks with swimming beaches are needed all over central ohio.

Eastfork could be so much better - I have been going to Eastfork since I was a kid. I love the lake and the beach but if you dont have a boat then its not as fun. There are many boat ramps but not enough beaches. Why are the campgrounds on the side with NO beach You have to drive around the entire lake which takes about 30 minutes to get to the beach from the campground. It doesnt make any sense. I do love the newer bathrooms though. But my Dad who camps everywhere said he will never go back to eastfork since there is no beach on the campground side. Add a second beach and maybe some more fishing areas and I guarantee you will get alot more customers.

Scuba Diving - I think you need to check the web page. You say SCUBA DIVING Scuba diving is allowed. The lake is nearly two foot deep in places. - but I think the lake is WAY OVER 2 FEET in most places Did you mean a different number Or are you trying to point out the shallow places

Fabulous Park - nicely kept up. - The North Rim trail seems to be kept up nicely. The trail across the river from this has a LOT of fallen trees across it. It is challenging to climb over some of them. One hike a tree fell on top of some trees who were already blocking it. It was impassable until my husband cleared some of it away. It is a beautiful trail with nice clean water coming from springs but it is really challenging for people with small children and involves some fancy footwork for adults
