review rating - 1 to 5 stars Increasing parking fees - Once again, the fees for parking have increased this year just like the last. Originally it was only $2 to park. Now it is $10 on weekends. For local residents who are on a budget. And simply want to take a walk in the park. The price increase makes a big difference and have become prohibitive.

review rating - 1 to 5 stars Great memories here as a child - Grew up in Richmond VA and we used to go here all the time. I remember the zip line into the lake, paddle boats and SO much more. Would love to bring my family and granddaughters on our next trip up there

review rating - 1 to 5 stars Wonderful park for children - Last spring we took our Grandson for his first fishing trip. We all enjoyed the safe ease use of the pond. Our four old caught his first fish on his second cast! We are on our back today to try our luck again.

review rating - 1 to 5 stars love it - I live less that 2 miles from Douthat and I spend most of my summers there. Douthat is one of favorite places to fish during the summer months.

review rating - 1 to 5 stars Beautiful Park - A fairly long ride down a nicely paved road into the well-kept and clean park. The view around the lake, the weather, and our family get-together was great. Shelter 1 was a good location near restrooms and playground. We loved it in October.

What a joy to see the well cared for grounds and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this reserve your service has given us. Thank you, Park Service!
