Visitor Comments, Memories and Reviews
June 12 Camping & Fishing by Jean Lauderdale
park review stars; one to five The convenience of Bluewater Lake to homes on the So. Side of lake. What happened to the park on the So. side of the lake? We want to continue to use the lake on the So. side. Why is the gate closed to the property on the So. side of the lake by the main part of the lake? I camp at the lake and I do not want to drive all the way around to the No. side of the lake to camp or fish.
September 23 Unusual Occurrence
park review stars; one to five While fishing at a peaceful spot near the tip of a tongue, we heard cows mooing in the distance. We looked around-- nothing, but it sounded like they were advancing toward us. Across the lake there were folks fishing, picnicking, but they did not appear alarmed. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement. I turned right to see a large herd of cattle coming right for us-- fast. We high-tailed it out of there but could only get as far as our vehicle. They were bulls and they advanced on us so fast that my husband got seperated from my daughter and me and ran up a hill. They passed near the shore and hurried past our car. Wow! Never had that happen to us before. Still, the Park is beautiful and the trout we caught was the best!
