August 25
We liked it. The Flood of 2007 has changed things, I had a great time just floating down the river near the gentle rapids. The Rangers are great about bringing the firewood around. If you accidentally speak to one of the Rangers Before arrival you will find out there actually are not reservations at this Particular Park and this appeals to myself.
February 13 AMAZING! by positivepolly
I absoutly loved the park. With the natural wildlife and amazingness of the surroundings. I went earlier in the year and just found this site. I see the post titled sad and it is not at all what my experience was. I will be going the every summer from now on!
May 30 VERY BEAUTIFUL by still camping
When you see the old growth trees surrounded by fresh cut grass and native plants, picnic tables and rail fence, you will want to camp there. Built in 1935 with 139 acres, campsites hidden in the trees and a large grass area with a log kitchen, play equipment and new restrooms. The park is very clean and the park crew and Ranger Phil are very friendly with all the dry firewood ready for you to roast some hotdogs. We loved our visit and it was well worth the drive. Check it out soon, summer is coming.
August 15 Sad .. by dalowrider
Overpriced, the falls were washed away in a flood, detour to get there, cigarette butts, paper and cans in the site, 27 bucks a night and NO sewer hook up, the camp host or some park representative came to my site just before ten pm blinding me with a light on his cap did not indentify himself and demanded to know if the extra car was going to stay cause he wanted more money. I had just paid about a hundred bucks for three nights and a stick of wood. I had my brother leave, not just move his car outside the park. He is the only reason I was in the park in the first place. Lots of traffic on the road adjacent to the park. Noisy campers that no one quieted after ten, probably too busy worrying about extra cars.
July 16 Our Favorite WA State Park
We love it for single family camping and the Group Site. It is very peaceful. We also enjoy visiting with Ranger Dave!
May 24 family fun by me
we go here on memorial weekend and it is great. a safe environment for the children a great grassy area for playing and a park with toys for the kids.
July 27 best camping experience
My friend and I came here and had the time of our lives! We wanted to find a campsite where we could camp without being bothered and enjoy the river in peace. The park ranger was extremely friendly and helpful. After this awesome experience we wont go camping anywhere else :)
May 2 A Group Gathering Dream!
Our car club has used the group area at Rainbow Falls for an annual picnic and gathering. The staff was super helpful in putting our reservation together, making sure the group area was ready for our use and made our stay a memorable one. We WILL be coming back!
