Quartz Mountain Resort is operated by Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Enjoy the stark beauty of the Quartz Mountains, camp under the stars, or enjoy the artwork and the lovely rooms at the lodge!

Rapidly becoming the pleasure destination in Southwest Oklahoma, our property also offers numerous activities including golf, a seasonal fun park for all ages, paddle boating, hiking and nature trails. A 50 acre riding area for four-wheelers is located on the north shore of Lake Altus-Lugert that is closed during winter months. Our lodge features 118 rooms in Western, Native American, or Southwestern decor. We offer rooms with one king bed or two double beds, as well as six handicap accessible rooms. Each hotel guest room features four pieces of original art. Our two-story guesthouse is a short walk across a beautiful courtyard from the main lobby, restaurant, lounge, gift shop, library and ballrooms. We also manage nine cabins (pets welcome), and a 64-person bunkhouse, as well as RV hookups and primitive campsites. The resort also features a heated indoor swimming pool and adjacent hot tub/whirlpool, and a full service restaurant, the Sundance Cafe. Ask about our Quartz Mountain Flyer excursion train outings. Recreation rentals available through leased concessions adjacent to property. Rates $$$ (65-100+). Group rates/comp room available with 20 rooms booked. Other group services offered include complimentary walking tours and spa/salon services.

July 10 Not Happy about the parking situation by Don_H
park review stars; one to five impossible to get service, so what we usually do is pay on our way out, well this time my wife got a $20 ticket for taking the kids swimming. Stop being lazy and come up with a better system. There should also be more signs posted. Is there a way I can just pay when I get there instead of having to log in or text
October 13 Would Not Recommend by Valerie_N_C
park review stars; one to five We have booked our family reunion at Quartz Mountain Group Camp for years This year we went and were surprised at the fact the Playgrounds were removed from the group camp area, and the AC in the dining hall was not working. They failed to mention these issues to me in previous phone calls leading up to our weekend. They had 3 very small window units that did not keep that huge area cool at all. It was 99 degrees in there at one point on Saturday. Our elderly family members were too hot, and our kids had no place to play at all. Overall experience with the facilities was horrible, we did not rebook for the upcoming year as I was told they were not fixing the AC issue.
