I have done so many campings and Poltach is a low light of it. It has only one rest room for the whom campground and most of the park road is gravel hence the kids cannot bike in it and they have tried to maximize the money by campsites front back, side so there will be people on all your sides. Rangers are rude and unhelpful

Potlach State park is very busy and right next to HWY 101. The campsites set away from the HWY are fine, but the rest of the sites have much to be desired. The camping stalls are very close to one another. I have never been camping with so many people so close. In the north loop, there are so many lights and so much noise. HWY 101 is very loud. I thought it would be tolerable, but it was much louder than anticipated. If you want quiet and at least a little privacy, look elsewhere.

July 26 Stupid!! by Lisa

They are money hungry! We got there late on a hot friday, and only 1/3 of the campsites were used and the others all said reserved! There was a campsite that said hikers and bikers only and so we thought we could just camp there and pay to park our car also and then they were like no and they made us leave. Its horrible there all the campsites were wide open just like a parking lot with fire pits! I will never stop there again!
