PACIFIC BEACH STATE PARK
Nature of the Area
Pacific Beach State Park is a 10-acre camping park with 2,300 feet of ocean shoreline. The beach provides a variety of wonders, from dramatic surf to beachcombing.
Passes
A Discover Pass is required for vehicle access to Washington state parks for day use. For more information about the Discover Pass and exemptions, please visit the Discover Pass web page.
Camping
Camping Fees : Please note that the following general fee information is not customized for each individual park, so not all fees will apply to all parks (for example, primitive campsite and dump station fees listed apply only to parks that have primitive campsites and dump stations). An additional $1 per night is added to the basic camping fees listed below at this high-use park.

Basic camping fees are:

Standard campsite, $15.

Utility campsite, $21.

Primitive campsite (accessible by motorized/non-motorized vehicles) and for water trail camping, $10

An additional $3 fee (standard) or $5 fee (utility) may be charged for select premium campsites at some parks.

Maximum eight people per campsite.

Second vehicle: $10 per night is charged for a second vehicle unless it is towed by a recreational vehicle. Extra vehicles must be parked in designated campsite or extra vehicle parking spaces.

Dump stations (if available): Year-round dump station fees are $5 per use. If you are camping, this fee is included in your campsite fee.

More about park hoursCheck-in time is 2:30 p.m., and check-out time is 1 p.m.Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Length of stay: you may stay up to ten consecutive days in any one park during the summer; the stay limit is extended to 20 days between Oct. 1 and March 31.

Campsite Information : The park has 32 standard sites, 32 utility sites, one dump station, two restrooms (one ADA) and two showers (one ADA). Most sites are on the waterfront but are unshaded. All utility sites offer electricity only and are "back-in" only. Maximum site length is 60 feet (may have limited availability). The dump station offers fresh water for RV holding tanks. Charcoal and propane barbecues are permitted. Campfires are allowed on the beach, but no campfires or portable fire pits are permitted in campsites. To reserve a campsite, call (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688.
Swimming
1. Pacific Beach State Park offers a mile-long sandy beach perfect for swimming.
2. The park's ocean waters are colder, suitable for experienced swimmers.
3. Lifeguards aren't available; swim at your own risk.
4. Swimming is best during the summer months due to warmer temperatures.
5. High tides and currents can make swimming challenging but exciting here.

Fishing
Enjoy fishing for salmon, perch and flounder in the ocean waters. Digging for razor clams is also popular here.



Picnicking
The park has eight unsheltered picnic tables, available first-come, first-served. Day-use parking is limited. If visiting with a large group, contact park staff at (360) 276-4297 for parking options.
