September 11 Great place with beautiful view.

We camped here one night while traveling through, it is beautiful. There is a spacious beach and swimming area. Our campsite sat overlooking the lake, nice paved roads and we had full hookup.

March 29 Excellent Place by forlifecouple

Words cant describe the peace and tranquility that we received by the sheer nature surrounding this place. My wife and I took a tent and didnt even hook to power though available. We just enjoyed good people, good weather and the most beautiful camping spot in America. We are replanning a trip back soon and several this summer. UTOPIA!

June 3 'fun memories'; by Mr. davis

As a little kid while attending school. I had a great time at the lake with classmate and friends. well! time as past. Now my wife and I take the kids to Lake Lurleen State Park. While visiting, we have a great time. I guess things never change.

March 14 A Great Alabama Park by missinghome

I spent countless days swimming @ LkLurleen with my 2 sisters, while our momma laid out in the sun to get burnt (haha!). I went paddle-boating and we had family gatherings there at times. It holds some of my best memories even if us girls were made to fish (by our daddy). It was a great place to visit. I live in a northern state now and I will re-visit with a family reunion at Lake Lurleen. It is a great place with lots of things to do.

I used to go here when I was little and always had the best time. Even when I was a teen and was mad that I was forced to go, I was always glad I did. Now, I take my babies.
