Passes
Connecticut has made state parks, forests, trails, historic sites and beaches more accessible to our residents so they can enjoy the many attractions and beauty they offer. Under the Passport to the Parks program, parking fees are now eliminated at Connecticut State Parks for those with Connecticut registered vehicles. You can view the CONNECTICUT PASSPORT TO THE PARKS web page to learn more.
Fishing
The park offers freshwater fishing in the Bolton Lakes, where anglers can catch largemouth bass and catfish. Trout are stocked seasonally for additional angling opportunities. Fishing is accessible from various shoreline spots or by boat on Lower Bolton Lake. A valid Connecticut fishing license is required for all fishermen aged 16 and over.

Please note that specific regulations may apply to different areas within the lakes, so it's important to check local rules before heading out.
