Awesome forest but....a lot of these reviews are for Bald Eagle State Park. The state park has the lake with a rustic camping side. The state park is nice too, but the state forest is amazing!

May 8 WE VISIT EVERY MEMORIAL WEEKEND by belinda

We have been camping here with the kids for over 18 yrs. The lake itself is a very good lake for Crappie. We camp on the rustic side and have always enjoyed our stay. Watch out for the raccoons they will eat your bait and get into your coolers at night.

We stayed at the rustic sites for Memorial Day weekend. The host family was wonderful, the bath-houses clean, the site was impecable. Everything was exactly as I had hoped it would be!
