Willard Bay rests atop the Great Salt Lake flood plain in northern Utah. Its 9,900 acres of fresh water provide boating, waterskiing and year-round fishing for crappie, walleye, wiper and catfish. Camping also is popular at the park. Two state-owned facilities are available to recreationists.

The north marina is 15 miles north of Ogden, just off Interstate 15. The park has 62 campsites, modern rest rooms, hot showers, sewage disposal station, seasonal/transient boat slip rentals and sandy beaches.

The south marina is eight miles north of Ogden. It is open April through October and provides boat launching, seasonal boat slip rentals, and modern rest rooms

Swimming
1. Willard Bay State Park in Utah offers two designated swimming areas.
2. Both North and South Marinas have sandy beaches for swimmers to enjoy.
3. Lifeguards are not present, so swim at your own risk is advised.
4. Swimming outside the marked zones can be dangerous due to boat traffic.
5. The water quality of the bay gets regularly tested during summer months for safety purposes.

Fishing
Located in Utah, the park offers year-round fishing opportunities. Anglers can catch Walleye, Wipers and Channel Catfish from its waters. There's also a chance to reel in Smallmouth Bass or Crappie. Fishing is possible both from shorelines and boats for added convenience.

Bicycling
Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy paved paths suitable for all skill levels. Be aware, off-road biking is not permitted.

The park offers a serene environment perfect for leisurely rides but lacks challenging trails for advanced cyclists.

Ensure to follow safety guidelines while cycling as the area often gets crowded with pedestrians and other bikers.

Nighttime bicycling isn't recommended due to limited lighting along pathways; daytime riding is safer and more enjoyable.

Remember that helmets are mandatory on these routes - it's crucial always prioritize your safety when enjoying outdoor activities.

While there aren't bike rentals available onsite, nearby facilities offer this service if you don't have your own equipment.
Birding
Birdwatchers can spot over 200 species, including American White Pelicans and Sandhill Cranes. The park is a migratory bird haven with wetlands attracting waterfowl like ducks and geese. Birding trails offer views of raptors such as Bald Eagles in winter months.
