Silver Lake State Park spans 80 acres and its sandy 1,000-foot beach curves along 34-acre Silver Lake. Popular activities in the park include swimming, picnicking, and boating. Amenities include picnic tables, kayak and paddleboat rentals, flush toilets, and a park store.

The park is open weekends from mid-May to mid-June, and daily from mid-June to Labor Day. Admission is $3 for adults; $1 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.
Swimming
1. Silver Lake State Park offers a large sandy beach for swimming.
2. Lifeguards are on duty during peak summer months ensuring safety while swimming.
3. The park provides changing and restroom facilities near the swim area.
4. Swimming is allowed from dawn to dusk in designated areas only, following state regulations.
5. No pets or alcohol are permitted at the beach area where people swim.
6. There's ample parking available close to the lake making it convenient for swimmers with equipment.
7. The water quality of Silver Lake is regularly tested by New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES).
8. Picnic tables and grills can be found nearby if you want a break between swims.

Boating
The park offers a variety of boating options for visitors. It has a boat launch available, making it easy to bring your own watercraft and explore the lake at leisure. Canoeing and kayaking are popular activities due to calm waters, while motorized boats are also permitted on the lake but must adhere to certain restrictions regarding speed limits in some areas. Fishing is allowed as well with appropriate licensing.
Fishing
Enjoy fishing in a 34-acre lake, home to species like largemouth bass and chain pickerel. Ice-fishing is also available during winter months. Other fish include yellow perch, horned pout (bullhead), and sunfish for those seeking variety.



Picnicking
Silver Lake State Park offers picnic tables, grills and a beach area for picnicking. Alcohol is not permitted in the park.
Bicycling
Biking enthusiasts should be aware that the park doesn't offer specific biking trails. However, cyclists can enjoy paved roads within this area.

Please note: Bicycling is permitted on these paths but caution must always be exercised due to vehicular traffic and pedestrians sharing the roadways.

It's important for bikers to respect all posted signs and regulations while enjoying their ride in order not to disturb wildlife or other visitors' experiences.

Remember, helmets are highly recommended when cycling here as safety measures against potential accidents or falls during your journey.
