Have camped St. Francois for over 30 years. Grass is always cut, no bugs to speak of; lots of shade; shower house is always clean. Lots of kids to play with our grand kids. Its a must and right out of St. Louis.

May 2 My new Favorite by campingmama

Just got back from a wonderful weekend at St. Francois. Our campsite backed to the woods and a scenic path down to the Big River...our own access..and gorgeous. The Swimming Deer trail was awesome. Very clean shower houses, minimum mud and dust...mostly grassy! Overall great park!

This is a great park for camping, fishing and swimming for kids. we have been camping there for 30 years; hopefully another 30.
