L PRESLEY AND VERA C GILL STATE NATURAL SITE
The L Presley and Vera C Gill State Natural Site is a beautiful, serene natural area located. This 183-acre site was donated to the state by Mr. and Mrs. Gill with an aim of preserving its unique ecological value for future generations to enjoy as well as providing opportunities for environmental education programs. The park features diverse habitats including wetlands, forests, meadows along with various species of wildlife such as deer, birds among others making it perfect spot for nature lovers or those seeking tranquility away from city life.
Located in Oregon, this natural site is named after L Presley and Vera C Gill. The history of the area dates back to 1986 when it was officially designated as a state natural site by the State Parks Department.
L Presley and Vera C Gill were philanthropists who had an immense love for nature conservation. They donated their land with hopes that future generations would appreciate its beauty just like they did during their lifetime.
