March 13 Love the Cranes by Steve A. from Millard
It would be nice if the shower / bath house opened earlier in March for us camping crane watchers AND a porta-potty down by the railroad bridge over the river where we all walk to to watch would be very handy and not cost the State Park System too much money.
March 21 ENF Visit by Terrence Ingram, Exec. Dir.
We enjoyed the visit we had on Monday. We especially want to thank the person responsible for putting the picnic table half way to the bridge. Not only did our people use this table to rest, but many others did too. They sat and rested on it going and coming back from the bridge. Thank you. We appreciate the courtesy very much.

Its our favorite place to camp. Lots of shade, very kind and helpful park workers, great fishing, great trail and overall, just a nice clean place to take a relaxing, peaceful weekend!!

We recently held our wedding out there and the park staff were excelent in helping us feel at home. The land was beautiful and well taken care of.

You got to pay to take to shower. It is 75 cents for the 3 Minutes. It will take $20.00 to get your car in on top of your lot rent.
June 21 New Addition by James
In June of 2010, Governor Dave Heineman signed a Proclamation re-establishing the 2nd Battalion, Nebraska Veteran Calvary, the unit will be at the Fort on three major holidays, memorial day weekend, 4th of July weekend, and Labor day weekend. This historical Calvary unit served at the fort during the Indian Wars, the unit is historically correct in every possible aspect; bugle calls used by the Calvary can be heard at differing times to announce the activities of the troop at the fort.
July 9 Better than parks in other states. by Christine Scott
A great family place. Fun to watch when the fish are fed. Good walking paths. Fellow cammpers are quiet at night. Park workers are very helpful and pleasant. Wish the fish had been biting!
